Welcome to Kindred Spirits Wedding Planning page!

Can you imagine walking down the aisle to nothing but the sound of your footsteps and the pounding of your heart?

This illustrates the importance of music to your wedding ceremony. "No other single element of your celebration has the power to move your guests and engage the emotions of all in attendance the way beautiful music does". (Goldsmith, et.al., Modern Bride Complete Wedding Planner, John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 1997. p. 169.)

Things you didn't think of will be OK!

A little boy was in a relative's wedding. As he was coming down the aisle, he would take two steps, stop, and turn to the guests. While facing the guests, he would put his hands up like claws and roar. So it went, step, step, ROAR, step, step, ROAR, all the way down the aisle. As you can imagine, the crowd was near tears from laughing so hard by the time he reached the pulpit. When asked what he was doing, the child proudly announced: "I was being the Ring Bear."

What Will You Remember The Most?

By Paul Beardmore in The Shenandoah Valley Bridal Guide, c. 2000

"Contracting high caliber entertainment is the single best investment in the success of your wedding. A recent national survey of over 2000 brides identified music and entertainment as being more essential to the success of the event than all other factors combined. Over 60% of the respondents in the survey indicated that the music and entertainment they selected rated higher than the food or facility as the key factor in determining the outcome of their wedding."

"An interesting correlation in the same survey also disclosed that music and entertainment was one of the least expensive components within the wedding budget. The average entertainment investment was $500.00 and represented less than five percent of the total wedding budget."

"Clearly it is critical that you make an educated and wise decision when selecting the entertainment for your wedding. Since entertainment decisions represent such a small portion of your overall investment, opting for lower priced, lower quality entertainment has little influence on your expenses, but can severely impact the success of your event."

"Remember that price alone does not reflect quality. Avoid the potential disaster of an inexperienced entertainment service with low caliber performance by selecting a well-established, reputable wedding entertainment provider to best ensure success!"
